Admission Criteria - Gautam Teacher Training College

Admission Criteria in Gautam Teacher Training College includes some admission process and eligibility criteria in the available courses which are disscussed below.

1 B.Ed. 2 Years Minimum 50% marks either in Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree in Science/Social Science/Humanities or any other equivalent qualification. On the basis of Merit List of Joint Entrance Test.
2 M.Ed. 2 Years Minimum 50% marks either in B.Ed , D.El.Ed with (BA.,BSc.) with 50% in each. On the basis of Merit List of Joint Entrance Test.
3 D.El.Ed. 2 Years Minimum 50% marks in Intermediate (+2) or its equivalent examination. Eligibility criteria may be changed as per regulations of the recognizing/affiliating body as changed from time to time On the basis of marks obtained in the ‘Entrance Test’ organized.

Documents required at the time of counseling & admission:-

  1.    Secondary (Matric) Certificate and Mark-sheet.
  2.    Intermediate (+2) Certificate and Mark-sheet.
  3.    Graduation Mark-sheets (Part I, Part II and Part III) and Certificate (For B.Ed.).
  4.    College Leaving Certificate & Migration Certificate(if applicable).
  5.    Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC).
  6.    Six passport size colour photographs.

IMPORTANT

As per NCTE Rules, any student cannot take admission in any other course while doing B. Ed. Course. It is strictly prohibited to sit for/appear in any examination of any University or Board after admission in B. Ed. Programme.
The admission will be cancelled with immediate effect if any candidate is found guilty. An employed candidate will have to submit the releasing/leave order from head of the concerned organization at the time of admission.

Note:-

  1. Student must bring original certificates at the time of counseling/admission with one set of photocopies of all certificates and mark-sheets.
  2. If the student has passed graduation from other university, he/she must submit ‘Migration Certificate’ within three months of admission in the college.
  3. College may keep some of the original certificates and mark-sheets.

Cancellation of Admission:

  1. Student shall be rusticated from the Institute, anytime during the course period; if it is found that he/she has taken admission by submitting false documents. In that case, all deposited fee shall be forfeited.
  2. Admission may also be cancelled or Penalty may be imposed if a student pay the fee but fail to join the institute on prescribed time or fail to appear in Internal Tests or do not attend School Internship programme. In that case, all deposited fee may also be forfeited.
  3. Admission may also be cancelled or Penalty/Fine may be imposed if the student is found guilty of gross indiscipline/damage of institute property/misbehavior with teachers or staffs or harassing/bullying other male/female students. In that case, all deposited fee may also be forfeited.
